The  Baltimore City Heritage Area is proud to introduce Authentic Baltimore. This new program allows sites, services, and events to apply for designation as part of an authentic Baltimore Experience. Authentic Baltimore will assist visitors and residents in identifying restaurants, hotels, museums and events that authentically convey the heritage of Baltimore.

Designated museums, restaurants and shops are permitted to use the authentic Baltimore logo on site and in their advertising to alert travelers and neighbors that they are indeed experiencing a piece of the "real" Baltimore. Authentic festivals, tours and events may use the logo in their promotional materials so be sure to look for it as more and more sites, services and events and taking advantage of the application process to become part of the program.

For more information on Authentic Baltimore including a list of designated sites, services and events, program guidelines, applications and fees please click on the links to the left. The staff of the Baltimore City heritage Area is available to answer questions or to guide potential new members through the application process.
