African American Children’s Book Fair

1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Parents, children, educators and book lovers are invited to shop for titles and hear renowned authors and illustrators discuss their work and the power of multicultural stories. Children can participate in author & illustrator presentations, readings and craft activities involving bookmaking. Fun activities will also include a story and the magical basketball moves of former Harlem Globetrotter Charles “Choo” Smith and a hip hop music performance celebrating literacy.
