11th Annual Fell’s Point Privateer Festival April 18 – 19, 2015
Fell’s Point Main Street will hold its 11th Annual Privateer Festival on in and around Broadway Square in the historic Baltimore waterfront community of Fell’s Point. Celebrating the prowess and legacy of the Privateer schooners and sailors, you can travel back in time to explore Baltimore’s maritime history, honor the patriotic privateer fleet, and experience the ‘pirate’ fantasy of sailing lore. This weekend full of family-friendly activities will kick off a year-long schedule of festivities with sails flying and a full scale land invasion of living history, entertainment, merchants, food and libations.
This annual event has always been popular with residents, businesses and visitors in the historic neighborhood. Mike Maraziti, President of Fell’s Point Main Street, says “Events like these create vibrancy for our community while highlighting the character and sense of place we greatly value as businesses and residents of Fell’s Point
