Spring is around the corner and with it comes the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar! Maryland’s largest producers-only market reopens for its 38th season from April 5 to December 20, 2015. The market is open Sundays from 7am to sell out, approximately noon. For 2015, market-goers can expect old favorites as well as new vendors including Sexy Vegie, Midtown BBQ, Hex Ferments, Magnet Earth Gourmet and Corazon Cakery. Also for 2015, the market offers regular cooking demos from area chefs, live music performances, additional seating and bike parking. A full list of vendors is forthcoming. Every week, shoppers can browse and purchase the freshest local produce, meats, dairy, spices, preserves, fresh baked breads and flowers, in addition to delicious meals prepared on the spot. Market-goers can also visit the bazaar for handcrafted art from local artisans, unique collectibles, jewelry, vintage clothing, soaps & lotions and much more. The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar averages 3,000 to 8,000 attendees each Sunday during non-peak and peak seasons, and takes place rain or shine.
